Meet your doctors

Two disciplines.
One treatment plan.

Most clinics make you choose: a chiropractor or a naturopath, a quick crack or a deeper look at why you keep getting hurt. At Active Lifestyle Clinic you get both — a married team who share notes on the same patient, in the same building, so your spine, your joints, and your overall health are handled together.

Naturopathic medicine Dr. Todd Winton, ND — naturopathic doctor at Active Lifestyle Clinic

Dr. Todd Winton N.D.

Why patients choose us

The Active Lifestyle difference.

Conservative care, first
We start with the least invasive thing that works — adjustments, injections, movement, nutrition — and treat surgery and long-term medication as a last resort, not a first one.
Two disciplines, one plan
Your chiropractor and your naturopath actually talk to each other. One integrated plan instead of two clinics pointing fingers at each other.
Real time with your doctor
You see Dr. Todd and Dr. Jen — not a rotating cast of assistants. They sit down, listen, and explain every step before it happens.
No prepaid contracts
We will never lock you into a 24-visit package to walk out the door. We recommend what you need, tell you when you are done, and mean it.
What brings people in

What we help with every week.

Office workers who slept wrong, runners and golfers mid-season, folks rear-ended on the 10, and people who have been told "just live with it." Because we combine chiropractic, naturopathic, and physical-therapy tools, we can reach problems a single-discipline clinic often cannot.

No. 01

Lower back pain

From sit-all-day stiffness to acute flare-ups. Adjustments, soft-tissue work, and targeted injections when the joint needs more support.

No. 02

Neck pain & stiffness

Forward-head posture, a bad pillow, or post-accident whiplash. Often paired with shoulder tension and headaches.

No. 03

Headaches & migraine

Cervicogenic headaches respond well to upper-cervical work and release of the tight muscles at the base of the skull.

No. 04

Sciatica & nerve pain

Radiating leg pain, numbness, or tingling. We combine adjustments with soft-tissue and nerve-focused care.

No. 05

Joint pain — knees, shoulders, hips

Where prolotherapy, prolozone, and PRP shine — regenerative injections that help the joint rebuild instead of just numbing it.

No. 06

Sports & overuse injuries

Golfers, pickleball players, runners, weekend warriors. Get back in the game without sitting the season out.

No. 07

Auto-accident recovery

We document thoroughly, coordinate with your attorney or adjuster, and build a recovery plan that does not drag on.

No. 08

Plantar fasciitis & foot pain

Radial pressure-wave therapy and custom orthotics for stubborn heel and arch pain that has not responded to rest.

No. 09

Hormone & fatigue concerns

Dr. Todd's naturopathic side — bioidentical hormone balancing and nutritional support for energy, sleep, and mood.

No. 10

Weight & metabolic health

Medically supervised weight management, including modern options, paired with lifestyle and nutritional coaching.

No. 11

Chronic & "live with it" pain

When one approach has stalled, the combination of disciplines often finds the piece that was missing.

No. 12

Everyday wellness & prevention

Maintenance adjustments, supplements, and check-ins to keep you active — the whole point of the place.

How we treat

Hands and nature first.
Technology when it actually helps.

Every patient gets a real exam, real listening, and a plan that explains itself. The tools below are not a menu to up-sell you — they are the kit we draw from once we understand what is actually going on.

Tool · 01

Chiropractic adjustments

Diversified manual technique and gentle, instrument-assisted work for sensitive patients. Dr. Jen matches the technique to you — not you to the technique.

Tool · 02

Naturopathic joint injections — prolotherapy & prolozone

Small, targeted injections that trigger the body's own repair response in worn or unstable joints. A regenerative alternative to masking pain or rushing to surgery.

Tool · 03

PRP — platelet-rich plasma

Concentrating your own platelets to support healing in tendons, ligaments, and joints. Regenerative care drawn straight from your own biology.

Tool · 04

Physical therapy & functional movement

With our PT, Christine — myofascial release and movement retraining so the fix actually holds, instead of unraveling the moment you leave.

Tool · 05

Radial pressure-wave therapy

Acoustic pulses for chronic soft-tissue trouble spots — plantar fascia, tennis elbow, calcific shoulder. Stimulates the body's own repair signals.

Tool · 06

Dry needling & cupping

Releasing stubborn trigger points and tight fascia to restore blood flow and range of motion — often the unlock for pain that keeps coming back.

Tool · 07

Bioidentical hormones & nutrition

Dr. Todd's naturopathic work — hormone balancing, vitamin injections, and nutritional medicine for energy, sleep, and whole-body resilience.

Tool · 08

Custom orthotics & home movement

Support from the ground up, plus a short set of exercises you will actually do. Four moves that work beat fourteen that gather dust.

"Conservative medicine first — so your body can heal the way it was meant to."

First visit

What to expect on your first appointment.

No mystery, no "let's see how it goes." Here is exactly what happens, in order, on the day you walk in.

  1. 1

    Paperwork (15 minutes)

Fill out new-patient forms ahead of time or in the waiting room. Bring a photo ID and your insurance or FSA/HSA card.

  2. 2

    Conversation (20 minutes)

The doctor sits down and listens first. What hurts, when, how long, what you have already tried, and what you actually want to get back to doing.

  3. 3

    Exam & the right discipline

Orthopedic, neurologic, and movement tests. Then we decide together: chiropractic, naturopathic, physical therapy — or the combination that fits you.

  4. 4

    Honest plan

You leave with a clear plan, an estimate, and an answer to "how long until I feel better." No fourteen-page packets, no pressure.

  5. 5

    Treatment, if you are ready

Many patients start the same day. If today is not the right day, that is fine — we will reschedule, no charge.

The first place that actually looked at the whole picture instead of just cracking my back and sending me out. Dr. Jen and Dr. Todd clearly talk to each other about your case.

After my car accident they handled everything — the paperwork, the adjuster, the plan. All I had to do was show up and get better.

Common questions

What new patients usually ask first.

If the question on your mind is not here, just call us — we would rather answer it now than have you guess.

What is the difference between a naturopath and a chiropractor?

A chiropractor (Dr. Jen) focuses on the spine, joints, and nervous system through hands-on adjustments. A naturopathic doctor (Dr. Todd) treats the whole body with natural medicine — injections, nutrition, hormones, and regenerative therapies. Together, they cover far more ground than either could alone.

Do I have to see both doctors?

Not at all. Many patients come in for just chiropractic, or just naturopathic care. We simply have both available, so if your case would benefit from the other discipline, the right doctor is already down the hall.

Are the joint injections painful? Is it surgery?

No surgery — these are quick, in-office injections (prolotherapy, prolozone, PRP). Most patients describe brief pressure. They are designed to help the joint repair itself, often as an alternative to surgery.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what is wrong and how long it has been wrong. We never sell prepaid packages. After your exam we recommend a plan with a clear end-point, and we revisit it together as you progress.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can call us directly to schedule — no referral required.

What if I have been to a chiropractor before and did not like it?

Tell us why on the phone. There are many techniques — if a high-velocity adjustment is not for you, Dr. Jen has gentler options that work just as well for many conditions.

Do you treat auto-accident injuries?

Yes, regularly. We document thoroughly, coordinate with your attorney or insurer, and design a recovery plan with a clear goal.
